Write the following words across the top of a(nother) page:
Light Spring Budding Sun
Free–write for two minutes.

Here were my results:
— — —

Dark Winter Rain Snow

Sestina slush in a two–minute puddle
Impossible with a sun–impoverished imagination

Glaciation increased this season
Recreations seized

We retreated to our heated sheets
Sailed vacations on flannel oceans.

Light Spring Budding Sun

Released

Seed pod bursts its
Fur flurry, heavy dandelion
Freed to weed its place
Across our path
halving the distance to Summer.

— — —

We then looked at the Rabbis reasons
for placing Purim where they did.
Beautiful shiur.
